School shopping in January?
So we’re halfway through the school year, and my son comes home from school with
another hole in the knee of his uniform slacks!
Now, when I was a kid, as soon as we hit the door, it was off with the school uniform and mom was telling us to "hang it up"! Heaven forbid you ripped or tore anything!
But my son spends time at the Boys and Girls club after school, so the wear and tear on his clothes is inevitable.
The real dilemma: Where do I find discounted school uniforms in the middle of the school year? (I have an aversion to paying full price) At the beginning of the year, everyone is vying for your dollars, so coming across a great sale is not problem. But in January, after all the Christmas sales, it can be more difficult. Just casually stopping in a few stores I kept coming across slacks for around $30.
Needless to say, I passed.
